Alright, it was a tad loud at the pizza parlor tonight and I couldn't hear much of the song, but this is what I know. It's an older song, a guy or group of guys sing it and the lyrics sounded like they went "floooww to the river".

TheVrolok, I tried googling it to every single thing I could think of the lyrics to be, but no luck.

dparker, That's too old.

rbloedow, Yea, I think it was tubthumping.

LeStEr, I'd guess from the 60's to the 80's.

Sounds like a good bet.

Awesome song, and I thought that at first, but theres no group of guys sining in that. Check it out though, as I may be wrong, and my cds are in my car so I cant check it at the moment.

Yeah, give us more details. I've seen many of these threads end up successful, and many go bad 🙁

At this rate, it's the latter 😛

More details!

Umm.. Talking heads = 6 guys, 3 girls IIRC. Lead vocals = guy.

The Bobs - Rainbird?

You can hear me in the early hours
Drumming on the screens
You can dance and run in summer showers
I'm feeding the greens
You'll laugh in a child-like way
When you water... every other day

I want to be -- your Rainbird

Water is life and I am the giver
Hose down the driveway, flow to the river

I can whisper in the night
In your flower bed
You can mow, I'll be all right
I've got a pop-up head
Snow-melt will be the source
Turning the desert... into a golf course

I want to be -- your Rainbird

Oh... water is life and I am the giver
Hose down the driveway, flow to the river
Thunder or lightning -- no precipitation
Changing the climate -- drip irrigation

I want to be -- your Rainbird
I want to be -- your Rainbird
