I think I saw that in Tijuana on a long weekend. Not sure it was sorta foggy, mentally.

Also to have the holes, do they saw them off? Or do they find them already broken?

Geodes look like regular rocks before they're opened up. If you find one you can crack it open with a hammer and chisel, but of course they sometimes shatter instead of splitting.
