Help me, my xp pro cd broke

ok as per the title, my xp pro cd broke, and its down to the the end of the month and the end of the trade in program for the x64 upgrade. Is there anyone that can send me an iso or send me to a link that they know is purely the retail version and not the corp. It seems like every torrent i dl is corp , or modified in some way that M$ wont take the product ID. Can someone help me out plz?
 
You are asking for something Illegal if you know that or not. And last time i checked Anandtech doesn't do thing illegally so try some other forums or web sites.
 
how is it illegal???? im not asking for a crack or a cd-key..... all im asking for is a backup of an EFFIN windows XP Professional disk. And legaly i can possess a backup becuase i have the original disk, but it doesnt work, thats why i am asking for and iso of a the cd so i can use it as a back up. there is nothing illegal about it.
 
i dont have a digi cam, but i can explain it... the cd is still intact and it will boot to it, but at like 20 or 30 some % it stops saying some with driver.cab could not be open or read. i look at the cd and there is a part where the label scratched off and you can see through it.
 
It is in fact perfectly legal to have in your possesion a backup copy of any software, given that you can show a valid and legal cd-key and license and you don't have it installed on more machines than you have licenses. I'd love to help you out, but the only iso I have is the xp pro corporate.
 
Download Shareaza, it's a freeware, type in xp professional and just download it, but I don't know if it will be done till 31st, you can try. lol It's illegal cuz ur not paying for it 🙂
(get iso buster if u try on shareaza, to open if it's in a .iso file)
 
Just DL it from a p2p/torrent. I doubt it's illegal, since you have to put your own cd-key anyways.

ok time for update🙂, i tried Shareaza to no avail, worked just like kazaa viruses and bad files. then i thought i had installed my xp pro on my bro's comp becuase he lost his key. after fighting with the hdd to work seeing that it was installed on a AMD athlon xp, and then i was trying to boot from P4 🙂 it worked just long enough that i could get the PID, then it BSOD'd...yay and i got my x64 pro upgrade coming to my house 🙂 🙂 🙂
