Hi guys,

I need your help.. I am using AMD Athlon XP 2200+, ASUS A7V333, 768MB RAM.

Last week, my mobo was not working, then I bought another exact same mobo like the old one. After that, my PC keeps hanging. Like when I restart my computer, it takes like 2-3 mins to load win XP, also, everything is slow and I am getting confuse.

Help me pls....Thank you

HT

Even if you replaced the motherboard with the same exact one, it may have been a slightly different revision with a few changes, or it could be a different BIOS version. Either of these things could cause this problem. Try reinstalling IDE/Chipset drivers. If that doesn't work, I would try and see if you can do a test load on a spare/older HD to see what happens on a fresh load. If it works, you will probably just have to reload windows.

I don't know how to update my motherboard. I checked the version, seems like last update was around 2002.
