Help me mount my Compunurse!!

Please take a picture of how your compunurse is attached to your cpu.. I tried to tape it to the ceramic part of the cpu but the tape didn't hold maybe I need stronger tapes... So please post your picture and thanks for all your help.

Sounded kinky. Guess I had something else in mind. 😉

I have a compunurse probe and tried tapeing it to my cpu
at first, but found that it was preventing the
heatsink from seating properly.
I put the heatsink on first, then with a flashlight &
a small mirror I could see the gap between the cpu
& hsf. I could see where the core was and slipped
the probe in the gap. It went in easily. I then taped
the wire, with reinforced packaging tape, to the motherboard
with just a small bend in the wire right by the
heatsink to keep it in place.

Hope this helps.....

Here is a picture of how I installed a probe. I had to remove the shrink wrap on the probe end to get it so that the HSF fit flush with the core.

EDIT: I just used thermal tape to hold it.

what I would recommend is to clip the end like so -->

when I see your pic I see the brown extra plastic and you can clearly see the wire, the wire is where it's at. by clipping the extra and putting the wire closer you will have more accurate readings. However that said you should still be having readings withing 1-3c +/- IMHO
