Help me make an awesome all-around computer

Ok, here's what I've got now (and will be here in the neare future), so what do I need to step up to give me an all-around awesome computer (by this I mean above average in every way).

P4 2.4B (will have a Vantec Aeroflow HSF)
512Mb Geil Golden Dragon PC3200 (soon to be 1 GB Kingston HyperX PC 4000)
MSI PT880 board
Raidmax Scorpio 868 Case (black) with 7 case fans (2 rear, 1 side, 4 front)
500W Coolmax PSU
GeForce FX5200 128 MB (will become either 6800Ultra or X800 Pro)
Lite-ON 52/32/52 CD-R/W
80GB (I think Seagate) 7200RPM 8MB SATA
120GB Seagate 7200 8mb IDE
Audigy 2 ZS (Gamer version)
Winfast TV2000 Expert
Some old beige floppy
Creative 2.1 speakers (looking at Logitech 5300s)
Old 17" beige Dell CRT
Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse & Keyboard

Ok, some questions:
What kind of overclock should be easily obtainable? Is 3.0Ghz realistic?
Does anybody know if ATi's card is supposed to have an onboard video processor?

Future upgrades:
Dual black monitors (17-19" CRT with 17-19" LCD)
5.1+ speakers (Z5300s most likely)
Hauppage WinTV 250/350 with SageTV/BeyondTV
74GB Raptor
NEC 8X DVD burner

Things I am considering
Upgrade P4 processor (2.8/3.0 C)
Switch motherboard
Switch to Athlon 64
Change case to Coolermaster Wavemaster case

I have 10 Panaflo 80mm fans (will need tails for these)
I have 6 (had 10, the 4 in the front of the case) speeze 80mm fans
1 80mm Vantec Tornado

Any suggestions for changes to current setup or future plans?

Switch to an Athlon 64 once socket 939 arrives, then use the RAM you buy to have a dual channel configuration.

duel channel doesnt really benefit the a64's much tho, maybe just 3% increase in performance, so i'm not sure if its worth the money.

Far as I know the new chipset requires RAM in Dual Channel mode. Single chips aint gona work.

Unless thats planed for K9.

I forget. After 3 months of research some of this stuff starts to look all the same. =p
