Hello,

Which is better or should I try to sell both and upgrade to something better then both?

Got this as a present PNY GeForce 7600GS 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card

or

Already have in my system Leadtek WinFast A400 TDH Geforce 6800 128MB AGP Video Card.

Mainly playing Titanquest wanting to play Prey or other first person shooters or cooler role playing game.

Thanks to all who respond.

what's the rest of your system?
can you unlock your 6800?

i'm not sure, but the performance between the two shouldn't be that great...advantage would probably go to the 7600GS.

you could sell both, and move up to x1950pro AGP(if and when it comes out) if you plan on sticking with AGP, or use the profit and make the move to PCIe.

The rest of the system consists of:

Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 motherboard

AMD Athlon A64 3400+MHZ cpu

1gigabyte 400MHZ Corsaire Value Ram

7200 RPM IDE 20Gig HDD

15" DELL 1540s or something like that LCD Monitor.

Thanks for your help.

How much do you all think I could get for the Brand new PNY card and the Half a year old Leadtek card?

Thanks.

Happy medium,

For both really? The brand new PNY sells for $145 new online alone!? I was thinking more in the lines of $200. I found someone else selling a near identical used 6800 NU on ebay for $100 an he had a bid already.

Thanks for your help.

heres a 7600gs for 88.00$ new! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16814143054.

Worth pointing out, that one is PCIe, there's a premium for AGP parts.

But yeah, you're not going to get any amazing ammounts of money for either of those cards.

Does anyone know what the price point for the AGP x1950pro?

Also lets just say I decide to keep one of the two cards how much of an advantage percentage wise would the 7600GS have over the 6800?

Thanks.

Agp x1950 pro about 250.00$

7600gd and 6800 are about even. I'd go for the one that overclocks the
best.

Oh haha sorry about that. Havent heard that one yet. Usually I can figure these out but this time I utterly failed.

No I really dont think I can overclock with my system. Its a fan based system and I just wouldnt feel comfortable overclocking really.
