i can agree with what people are saying about underground rap. Like anxi88, wahsapa and others, I really like it too, however in a party it just doesn't work. Almost all people listen to rap because its good music to dance to, if there was a different beat that wasn't poppy, with the same lyrics people wouldn't give a sh!t. So mainstream america, like mainstream rap does not know what good music is.
 
yep. it pained me to list mainstream but like the above post'er mentioned, it doesnt appeal to the mass population. if it did though, id be listing the roots 'push ya lighter up' or something along the lines of that.

line-up: a tribe called quest, xzibit, jaylib, supernat, grouch and luckyiam (living legends crew [booo, no murs]), little brother (9th wonder [if you havent heard murs 3:16, yikes you are missing out], big pooh and phonte), jurassic 5 (woo j5!), and i also hear mos def is a surprise special guest. 😀
