What should I do, I have a compaq 4660 300 mhz pII with 64 mb of pc66 ram. Should I upgrade? Buy a new system? Wait? I'm limited on money right now because I don't have a job and can't get one for a while. What do I do? *edit* forgot to say what I do, I do some photoshop, webdesign, word proc and play games. Right now the only game I play is tribes because its my fav and it runs almost half way decent on this machine (7 fps) 🙁 I was thinking for going celery and oclocking? maybe duron, maybe wait, ahhh so confused
 
If that PC runs good enough and does what you want it to do, stay with it. WHy spend money just to get a faster PC if you don't need it? Save your money until you really need something, don't blow it on stuff that you really don't seem to need.
 
Alright, I guess I'll wait a few months until Tribes 2 comes out to upgrade...But I was wondering if there would be these nice deals out here still, like ocing celerons or durons..
 
Look at it this way in a few months the processors will be cheaper & you will have more options on speed,boards etc.
 
Good point, I'll just throw a voodoo 3 pci into this one to kick a little life into it...since tribes is glide anyways if i get 15+ fps ill be sitting pretty 😛
