Hi Guys

Need some advice.

I have been searching for a car for the last 2 weeks now. I have finally short listed 2 cars. One is a 2000 Ford Mustang and the other is a 1999 Honda Civic.

I looked at both the cars and now the problem is that i have liked both, but can buy only one.

The mustang comes for about 6k, where as the Civic comes for around 5k
The mustang has very low miles, where as the Civic has excellent accessories in the car.

Which one should i go for?
I am confused....

Max.

Yes. I rode both of them. I liked both
Forgot to mention Civic is automatic, but the mustang is a stick shift car.

the civic, foreign cars are proven to hold their value for a longer period of time. And gas milage is a lot better on the civic.

No fvckin' way I'd buy a used sports car. No fvckin' way I'd pay the premium for a used Japanese car. Survey says, "NEITHER!"

If you want more power and $hitty gas mileage, go with the Mustang.....

If you want a more economical ride, better gas mileage, go with the Civic...

Civic will last longer....

you wont have to worry about the parts in a foreign car because they never break down!

The mustang has 32k miles on it, but the Civic has 78k miles on it.

It already requires a scheduled timing belt replacement, for Christ's sake!

how long do u think you are going to have the car for? 78K is kind of a lot on a car but if u are only going to have the car for 4 years or so than it wont be a problem.

Yeah honda makes for crappy used cars because people have some stupid idea that even one very old with a million miles on it is still worth thousands and thousands of dollars.

I'd buy the mustang, BTW. It's a stick shift. It will be much faster and more fun than that pathetically boring civic.

Even if it's been ragged on I'd still buy it.

If you live anywhere it freezes, get the Civic, Mustangs are bricks on ice and snow.
