Help me, it keeps freezin

ok, i can get my tbird 900 up to 1052 @ 10 *105. the problem is it will boot at 1100 11*100, but when it gets to windows it freezes. every one else gets theirs up to 1200 and stuff, and i wanna do it too. if there is anything i can do to stop it from lockin up, tell me. my idle temps are like 24 degrees, so i should be able to get more, help me please

What's your voltage? You may need more. What kind of cooling? Also, not all of them will overclock that high.

also, what is your full-load temp? That is much more important then idle temp.

And what is your heatsink and what is your ambient case temp?

Depending on what heatsink you have(what do you have?), your chip may not be able to make it to 1.1ghz.

its the machine listed in my profile thingy below. i can get it to 1100 with fsb ocing, but i want more. i only used the pencil trick, could that be the problem. it will boot to windows, but once it gets done loading all the programs at startup, it freezes

Damn I'm slow today... ;). I should have seen that heatsink last night.

Well, with your setup, chances are 1100 just isn't possible with your chip.
