Well, when i run memtest, about ~5-10% of the time i get like 10,000 errors within a few minutes of booting up (my comp tends to crash in the first few minutes when it boots sometimes, and then is fine for days/weeks/months 24/7) and then after the 10,000 errors, im good to go, i've ran it for like 300+passes after the 10,000errors and not a single extra error was found.
Anyway Memtest + Windows always detect 1022mb of ram forwhatever reason, so i had memtest test all my ram by pressing "c" than "memory (XXX something)" "Memory - All/Bios" rather than "Memory - standard" Anyway when it tested all 1024mb of ram it ALWAYS finds 4096 errors, to the single error, at the 1,022.1MB mark. What does this mean? I've tried two different sticks of ram (Samsung, and Kingston Hyper X) and i get errors reguardless of my memory timings, voltage, and overclocks. (even thought i get crap overclocks)
What's happeneing here? I'm begining to think my Mobo is bad, what do i do? It's an Asus P4C800 Delx, the earlier ones from the initial release of the P4C 800FSB.
