... fuck beavers.
So, did you keep it? The pelt is probably worth about $20, and the skull, if cleaned, is worth $25-30 on ebay. Or, you can learn how to tan a hide & do some simple taxidermy. A few hours of your time and it'd easily sell for a couple hundred dollars.

First time I've seen one in-person, so I took a picture. Looks like it belongs in a water habitat...because it's wet and it came out when it was raining (then got hit by a car).
Other than precipitation, there's no water nearby. Poor little fella.
When the young get big the parents kick them out and they have to locate a new stream/pond. They are very possessive of their water. He was probably looking for a home before some sap ran him down in the road.
I was thinking beaver but the tail seems too narrow. It would help if there was a pic of the whole animal, or I'm guessing the rest was gruesome? lol
Was it a smelly beaver?
And then he's all... "a nom a nom nom nom"![]()
Didn't know beavers liked carrots.![]()

I'm not 100% convinced. I think it's a furry reptile of some kind.
Look at the scaly hands/forelimbs in the original post. Look at the snout. It's almost like a duck bill. There were duck-billed dinosaurs, you know.

That's not its snout thats clearly its tail and back feet. Look at the pictures on the wiki. They match almost perfectly. Not to mention the feet in that first picture have nails facing downwards.
Lay on your stomach. Which of your appendages have nails facing downward?

Whatever it is, it'll make a great first avatar.I'm not 100% convinced. I think it's a furry reptile of some kind.

Om nom nom. :awe:Food use
In the United States, Castoreum has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a food additive,[12] often referenced simply as a "natural flavoring" in the product's list of ingredients. It is commonly used in both food and beverages, especially as vanilla and raspberry flavoring.[13]
