Help me identify this game!!

It was in PSX, the game is probably 6-8 years old when DDR clones were rampant.

The gameplay is same as DDR but it's far more interesting as you play as a DJ. Each button you press actually produces bits of music or beats, so you actually take PART in the music. The buttons may play rim shots, scratching, or voice bits.. This game was hella fun.

Each songs also had 'free zone' time where you can improvise in any way you want with the current song in play... Damn this was fun. My friend got it from Korea so I'm assuming maybe it's Japanese import only?

It sounds similar to that game that came out on the PS2 when the system first came out. Some MTV game.

There was a game called Rez but I think that's for the PS2.
