Help me identify this card please

I traded for a radeon pci card and got the card installed today. It's supposed to be a 32 meg ddr version. Problem is, everything I've tried identifies it as a sdr card. (running the newest drivers.) pictures here There's a sticker on the back of the card there's a sticker that says RAGE6 SDR 32MB. The guy I bought it from said it came in a box for a retail mac version (he got it used from somebody here), thing is it has no DVI connector like the pictures i've been able to find of retail mac versions. It does have tv out. If anybody can tell me whether its sdr or ddr for sure, I'd really appreciate it.

thanks,
brian

I don't see a pic of it.....

It could be ddr....check out the ati site. what is the card spose to be, like a 7200 or something?

I checked the ati site first, they have a ddr and sdr version that look identical, so it COULD be a ddr. The newest drivers recognize it as a 7200 sdr 🙁

If the drivers recognize it as a SDR Radeon, and the sticker on the card says "RAGE6 SDR 32MB" then it's a pretty safe bet that it is indeed a Radeon SDR, not DDR as you were lead to believe.

Yeah, it probably is an sdr, i can't see why the drivers would recognize it as that and there would be a sticker on the back saying its an sdr. This sucks

All of the Radeon PCI cards have SDR ram except for the 7000 series(VE core), including the AIW.

UPDATED: I was incorrect, 7000 PCI can have 32 and 64 MB DDR

Well, I called ATI tech support and had them check the part number, its definately a 32 med SDR :disgust: Thanks for trying to help me fellas.
