I remember back in the early 90's could have been late 80's a clothing trend where the pants and shirts somewhat matched. They were black and made of a lightweight material. Each piece , the shirt and the pants would share a patterned area though. Say for instance the lower half of the left pant leg would be purple with black diamond and the right sleve of the shirt would be the same pattern. I'm pretty sure they were called feetish blues or something like that but have not found anything on google about. Any ideas?

Mooooooom, where are my gay pants? I thought I had them with my gay shirt. Why do I keep losing all of my gay things.

well chucks (chuck taylor classic's, I'm assumming) are still around because the punk scene has kept them around. a lot of the punk scene has stayed the same as it was back in the early nineties.

Do you have a picture? I don't really remember this style to be honest. The best I can remember is 'French cuff' on jeans. Those were the days!

Chuck Taylors were the first player endorsed basketball sneaker. I think they go back to the 20's

In the 90's it was the grunge scene that wore Chuck Taylors. (I was one)

Sounds like something Fubu would have done. I didn't wear any of that stuff though so I've got no idea.

Remember Reebok Pumps? The basketball sneaker that you could "pump up" so that your shoes were uncomfortable? And you wanted them even though you didn't even play basketball?

I got the welfare LA Gear rip off ones myself.

as recently as last year reebok had new pumps. Your turned a dial and as you walked they pumped themselves up. Turn the dial to deflate when removing. I used them as gym and running shoes all the time.

I bought those new reebok pumps. I wore them maybe 5 times. They now sit in my closet collecting dust. They look like space shoes.
