I found this spider while trimming the bushes - when I was loading cut branches into the compost bin, it jumped out from somewhere. It is roughly the size of a wolf spider, but is much more buffed - tougher legs, bigger body.

A quick search shows it could be a dark fishing spider (it was sitting under damp branches). Am I right?

You live in Russia? Cool spider tho. I love spiders long time.

I heard Daywatch is fixing to be released on DVD. Great series so far. Picked up Nightwatch for $6.99 at CC last week after a Blockbuster rental.

Actually, I live in Bay Area, NorCal. I just maintain a blog in Russian, because it's mostly my friends who read it.

I haven't been following Daywatch release (I just got around to seeing Nightwatch a couple of weeks ago, and only because Netflix had it streaming)

edit: and Daywatch sucks compared to Nightwatch

Thanks :) I wish I could do better - I'm a so-called 't-shirt runner'. I run in events with t-shirts. I participated in varsity cross-country events a couple of times (you can - just pay your $20 for an entry - and go for it) - and these guys leave me in the dust.

Damn man, if that sort of wildlife is in your bush, you should probably shave, or something. And see a doctor. Crabs might not be far behind. In fact, I see one right above your username. Yeah, definitely see a doctor.
