Ok... flipping through the stations on the radio tonight I came across a song which is played somewhat infrequently, but I think it came out in the mid to late 90s.

It starts and ends with what sounds like a vinyl recording of a bugle, and the bugle plays at the end begining and end of each chorus and provides the "hook". It's an uptempo kind of dance song, similiar in style to the songs Savage Garden used to put out. Part of the chorus goes "I could never fall in love in with you"??? Male voice, it sounded like-- but its so overprocessed it could be a woman's voice and I'd barely notice.

Anyone have any ideas of what song this is?

wtf. did the radio stations get a good deal on this CD or has it hit the 15 year mark which makes it a classic or something? Two threads on it in the same couple days? It's not THAT good of a song, and it's really not that obscure.

One hit wonder, White Town.

I don't know... it's a pretty decent song, and it beats listening to pretty much anything out there right now.
