HELP ME! How do i disable HP printer's Ink level estimator? I CANNOt print Photo Using Refilled INK!!! AAAhh!!

Ok, I refill my original HP black and colour ink cartridges on my HP 990C and they print great. Even with fully refilled ink, the printer's ink leve estimator says all cartridge are empty. I still can print at normal modes. When i want to print Photos using the printer's photo mode, the printer will just refuse to print and THIS PISS ME OFF. Is there are way do disable the ink level estimator or what? Is there a smart chip or that sort of crap?

Your printer cartridges have a small ID chip on them that contains a serial #. The printer reads this serial # and associates its ink count with this number. The printer will remember the last 2 cartirdges. Its easy to reset however.

Goto this page HP reset procedure, scroll down to step 4 and follow the instructions there. This method will work on all HP printers that read the cart's serial #.
