Hi guys :)

Been reading the forums for sometime and lovin it.I am sure u can help me with a little problem i have.I got an old PC at home which runs on P4 2.8 Ghz and Intel 915 Gag motherboard while the Ram being a DDR-400.Now is it possible that the P4 should work fine on an IP35-E and with DDR2-667.Will there be any compatibility issues.Please help me with this mates as i dont want to change the procy.

If i'm not mistaken P4 2.8GHz has the typical LGA775 socket so, if the motherboard supports this socket you should be fine.

Is there any reason not to change the cpu? I don't see the benefit of going through the trouble of changing the board and ram yet still use an old cpu. You wont be getting any noticable increase in performance.
