Im getting deja vous here because I remember asking this before and im pretty sure you guys told me "At the Earth's Core" but I never actually followed it up... anyway that's not the movie.
What I can remember from this movie is people drilling to the center of the earth (probably) and ending up in a weird place. At the end of the movie the main bad guy who has been immobile the entire time (stuck to a wall, looks like hes got a bowl of green liquid for a head, my recollection is fuzzy I think he is a severely damaged human of some sort, mutated maybe) detaches when he learns the people are leaving. He runs towards their ship and jumps on it, ends up dying somehow.
Thats all I remember about it. It was likely made between 1960 and 1980ish.
