Hey guys,
I'm looking for board to pair with most likely a Venice 3200+ chip to hit around 2.6ghz. I will be sticking with my 6800NU AGP and ATA hard drives. I'm questioning my power supply and memory.
What I have now
Shuttle A35N 400 Ultra
AMD XP-M @ 2.4 (200x12) @ 1.725vcore
Kingston ValueRAM PC3200 CL3
Antec 350W SmartPower
Would that PS be enough to handle the A64 setup and squeeze some extra clok out of the 6800NU or what should I been looking for....would a 400w PS out of TT tsunamidream be enough? Will I be able to hit 2.6 with PC3200 memory and will the higher timings deprive the 64 much. All this being said I'm looking for the best bang for the buck a64 mother board. I'd rather not go VIA and stick with nVidia. I would want a 1000HT, I think. And no need for SATA-RAID and SLI.
