Help me. Gigabit 'router' ?

I swore linksys had a gigabit ROUTER.
I want to run my Cable modem to a product that supports 1000mbps speeds. I want to run one 1000mbs cable to two computers, from the router/switch, then I want to run another port to a 802.11g acces point, with one more acces point extending its range.

(I need a router, but can I get a switch to do this??)

Get a normal 10/100 router and then a 5-port 10/100/1000 switch and connect them with a crossover cable (a straight will likely work fine, as most gigE gear is auto-cross).
