Right now my fbs is at 132mhz and when I try 133 it wont go into windows ive tried everything I know to get past 132. Ive tried upping the voltage, setting ram to 3,3,3 3,2,2 ,2,2,2 ,pulling my pci cards, putting the ram in different slots, any ideas?

My system is

Abit BE6 II
Maxtor HD Diamondmax 7200
Memman 133 Infineon ram
Asus 6800 pure
PIII 700E cbo
Golden orb HSF

Right now running
132mhz
1.65v
Cas 2,2,2
temp idle 28-30C
Max temp 35-42C

AGP Bus, be sure it's set at 2/3, not 1/1. Spread spectrum (if you have it) should be off. Better cooling, etc. What voltages have you tried? If you can do 1.65v at 132MHz fsb, I don't believe it's the CPU or heat related.

Other than possibly affecting what FSB speeds are available on the motherboard, how would Spread Spectrum being off or on affect one's ability to overclock?

I've been struggling with a 700 and can barely get it to 933 using 1.85v...and even then, the stability is not quite where I'd like to be. (Temp. probably not a factor: high 30s under load.)

Have you tried going past 133? Try something like 135 and see if that works...you never know. I've heard of instances where some combos just won't do a certain FSB speed, for some reason. Try one step beyond - ya never know :)

Good luck
