Help me get my thumb button working on my new Logitech Dual Optical mouse.

I can not get the thumb button to work. I've tried UT and Aliens vs. Predator 2 so I don't think it is the games. I just downloaded the newest drivers. Still not working. With the WinXP drivers the thumb button did not work at all and with the Logitech drivers it thinks the left button and the thumb button are the same.

Any ideas? Has anyone got the thumb button to work in games?
 
Your in luck....I use a logitech mouse and I use the thumb button all the time. You have to set the thumb button to be used as the middle mouse button. Once you do that it should work fine.


Do you play UT alot????
 
Used to play it a lot. Now I only fire it up when we have a LAN party. Aliens vs. Predator 2 is going to be fun multiplayer. Come on Saturday! 😀
 
I'm still trying to decide if I like it better than my old Logitech. I have big hands and this new one feels good but a little small. I just got it cause I could not pass it up for $29. 😉
