Help me get my Asus VS248H-P to look right

Last year I purchased an Asus VS248H-P after seeing some good reviews around the web. But I am having the hardest time getting the display to look right. Either the contrast is too much or to little. The colors are never exactly right, especially green. It is crazy. I have never had such difficulty getting a monitor to look right.

I tried some settings from across the web, but can't seem to find anything that looks right. The screen is attached to the computer in my sig. I am using the cable from my last rig, which is a DVI on the 660 to a DVI on the monitor.

Any help appreciated.
