I currently am using the Desktop Theatre 5.1 DTT 2500 Digital from Cambridge Soundworks.
I am getting Dolby Digital 5.1 now but want to try to get DTS. The DTT2500 Digital only decodes DD5.1.
Also, I am using the Original SB Live that comes with a Digital I/O daughter card.
I have heard that the new versions of WinDVD supports DTS decoding. All one has to do is to output
the signal to 5.1 speakers without a DTS or DD5.1 decoder box.
My problem is how do I disable the DD5.1 decoding on my DTT2500 Digital decoder box?
Currently I am just using a SPDIF from my digital IO daughter card on my live to the SPDIF in on my
DTT2500 decoder box.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
