Hey guys, I need some quick education, I feel kind of dumb asking this, but I feel kind of out of the scene lately the last year since I got married 7 months ago and moved etc and now I want to upgrade a few things but didnt realize all of the new models that came out past the Radeon X800 and I havent had time to keep up with everything so could you give me a quick refresher?
Here is what I al looking at. Looking at my sig you see that I have a Radeon 9800 Pro which has been great for games like Half Life 2 etc, but I am thinking of upgrading to something like the X800 Pro for Oblivion but I wasnt aware of all of the other models that had come out since then.. money wise the X800 is still within my budget and I would like to upgrade my cpu as well, maybe go AMD 64.. so what do I need to know about the new models compared to my Radeon 9800 Pro? Also What should I be looking for mobo wise if I want to upgrade that or would I be ok for a little while longer yet with what I have...thanks, I just took too much time off to get married and kinda fell behind
