I have a computer that was given to me with no driver disc etc. All I have to do is repalce the faulty harddrive.

It is an AMD K6-2/500 CPu on an BCM Mobo model VP1543 with Ali 1543C chipset. I will be installing win2000 or 98SE.

I will be able to source the sound and vid card drivers. What drivers will I need for the actual mobo to get this computer up and running. i have no knowledge of the older systems like this so i was looking to you people for help here what drivers will have to be installed for this mobo to make run correctly ???

Contact PC Club in Las Vegas they sold a ton of these boards and may have a driver CD for it in there files.

There is a very good chance that Win2k will have all the drivers you'll need to get the board up and running using MS's drivers. Then you can do as Bleep said and update the drivers as needed.
