I have a turtle beach santa cruz sound card. Last night the sound was working fine with my logitech Z-5500 system. now when i woke up this morning the whole thing is fubared and my center channel is not working at all, and all the other channels seem drowned out. I'm pissed at this point, I've reinstalled drivers 3 times, turned everything off and back on, restarted a few times, messed with every setting possible, switched cables, and I am still unable to get the center channel working and still not able to get the sound to sound right.
What's next? I don't really have an additional sound card to troubleshoot with.. and when I hooked the Z-5500 up to my 360 via optical cable, everything works perfectly fine.
My Z-5500 is using direct 3 mini jack to my computer for sound input/output
