I've been trying to install a couple of CD/DVD emu apps (daemon tools, alch 120%), which always fails.
Going through the setupapi.log file, there seems to be some problems with system32\SysSetup.dll (file seems to be fine). It says something about "error 126 can't find the module" and "can't activate inst prog for SCSI adapter".
Another problem (possibly because of this) is that windows won't recognize my usb 2.0 dvd burner anymore.
Is there anyway to fix this? Reformat is not an option, I just did that a week ago, don't want to go through that again.
btw, my os is win xp pro with sp2.
