OK, I'm building a rig and need to see if anyone has suggestions or will do a dummy check on my new LAN rig. I want to do a little OCing but don't feel the need for SLi yet (and got a smokin deal on an X800XL)...

I have:
Super Lanboy
2x512 TWINX1024-3200C2PRO
X800 XL 256MB PCI-E
DVD Drive
FDD
AS5
Thumb Screws, fans, monitor, speakers, Win XP, Mouse/Keys, etc misc
No more than $500 left

I'm thinking to finish off:
DFI Nforce4 Ultra-D ($135)
Venice 3000+ OEM ($150)
Super Flower / TTGI PLUG-N Power 550W Modular Power Supply ($85)
WD 80GB SATA ($60)
Arctic Freezer 64 or Zalman 7000cu ($50)

Anyone have suggestions? Remember $500 more is the limit (+/- for S&H orf course)

The new San Diego Cpu's seem to be more overclockable than Venice Cpu's. 2.6 seems to top out for Venice, and San Diego's go as high as 2.8.

Thanks!

I haven't searched too much, but are the SD's available at reputable resellers yet?

I guess I also forgot to mention, this is happening within the next 2 weeks, so unless SD is happening SOON, I'm cutting off the futureproofedness and pulling the trigger...

is that power supply native 24 pin if so looks fine if not......using an adapter is not recommended for nforce 4 dfi boards.

It was one of the cheaper recommended PSU's on dfi-street.com so that's why I'm dummy checking here.

I'm also wondering about my RAM and mobo selection because I have read a few issues about select Corsair modules on this board not working well AND I plan on getting an AT5 silencer for my X800XL when money permits and that chipset cooler looks like it might be an issue. I'm reading conflicting reports on all this ya know...
