Help me finish building my first PC!

Okay first I'm going to outline the parts I have for my system and then I'm going to ask some questions I hope will get answered; Suggestions would be great too

Here are the parts I already have:

Abit VIA KR7A Motherboard KT266A Chipset
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
256 MB 184-pin DIMM DDR Crucial RAM (buying more later)
80 GB 7400 RPM WD HD
30X lite-on burner
Windows XP
BLACK EVERCASE ATX Mid 300 Watt PS

Now here's the parts I'm considering:

????? Radeon 8500 LE 128 MB DDR
????? Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
What should I do about my floppy? Find a cheap $15 online somwhere?

Okay I just can't decide over my video card and sound care.
I can get the Radeon retail for 125$ shipped and the Santa Cruz OEM for 63$ shipped.

I've never been a huge PC gamer because my computer has always sucked, but should I go for this card and get into the gaming? What about the sound card? Should I just get a cheaper audigy? I plan to add a DVD drive soon too so. And I will set up some nice speakers later, not the hugely expensive high-end ones but some decent ones. Can I hook the sound card up to my stereo.

Please help me out with suggestions or by asking questions or whatever you can.

Thanks in advance all you experts!

Okay here's some more stuff.

I'm going to be getting a wireless NIC card to network with my crappy PC. How is the Belkin Wireless PCI card? HOpefully it will work between two floors on my house with quite a bit of distance.

I'll be using a crappy monitor for now. Probably a 17" that a friend will get for me.

I'll use a Microsoft Intellimouse and some Microsoft keyboard with all these weird shortcuts and the scroll on the side but that doesn't matter.

Hmm, that's all I can think of for now.

Help me out.

The Santa Cruz is a good sound card. Stick with it. Buy the cheapest floppy you can, they're all the same.

As far as your video card, I like nVidia myself, so I would recommend a GeForce 3 (many of the Ti200 ones overclock to ti500 speeds, I know my Gainward did). I have no experience with the Radeon so I can't comment if it's good or not. I just prefer nvidia.

Does anyone have anything to say about the RADEON 8500 LE 128 MB DDR I mentioned and the Nvidia 3?
I can get the two for close to the same price so what should I go for?

Thanks.

Please I'm begging for some help here.

Also, what do you think this system would run you with all the equipment I mentioned if you were going to make it?

The Radeon8500LE is a great card, though the non-LE versions are better.

BTW, That Radeon would outperform a GF3Ti500, so, I'd probally go with that.

I have an Abit KR7A-133R and the Evercase 4252, one question for you. Does your MB lay over the last three raised bubbles in the case?
