help me find this song - EDIT: got it, thanks

If I had any lyrics I'd just google it.... anyway what I do remember is that there is a piano (or more likely a keyboard) in the background that keeps playing sets of 3 notes going downward in pitch. The 3 notes vary but always, IIRC, go downward. The whole set of these notes repeats eventually. The singer is male and sings in a somewhat higher pitched voice, but his voice is soft relative to the background music and I always seem to hear this song in public places (store, gym) where the background noise makes it difficult to hear his exact words. Thanks in advance for your help.
