I would give a big thumbs up to Diamond Pros as well. I own two (an older 19" 900u and a newer 21"2040u) and they are the best CRTs I have used (I have a Sony 21" G520p as well and a 15" Sony of some sort) and the Mitsubishi's are better in my opinion. And most other people I know that have owned or used both Diamond Pros and Sony's.

I just recently switched to LCDs though and prefer it to all my CRTs :) I don't plan on ever buying another CRT but if I had to I would get another Diamond Pro.

i think sony makes the best monitors. i would consider the guy who is selling his g500's. my friends have viewsonics but they aren't as nice as the trinitrons.

okay, i noted what you said, in that case, if i recall, hitachi made some very SHARP monitors. do some research, my data is all 1 year old stuff, and i'm too lazy to do it fer ya. sorry.

I second the NEC FE1250. Very very nice montior imo.

Easily as good if not better than any Sony I have seen. I think its widely reguarded that if you want top of the line CRTs then Mitsubishi/NEC is the way to go.

Not saying others are not very very nice as well, just stating that these seem to be very very good but also at nice prices.
