This was actually my second-favorite use of Lionel Ritchie on the show - my fave had to be the time that he was debating whether to stay with his girlfriend or keep using his cartoonish "Hellooooo" voice. I thought the shots of him running through a flock of gulls on the beach while "Hello" was playing was one of the funnier things ever on that show.

I saw this last night on NBC's special on "Trading Places". I'd forgotten how funny Eddie was on SNL. Not that I'm old enough to have seen the original airings, I rented the "Best of Eddie Murphy SNL". :D

(m)IRC is also very good for dl'ing MP3's. (DalNet or Undernet) has ton's of MP3 channels. Do an @Locator or @find and a few keywords for the song/artist. Odd's are you'll have a response in a few moments.

Only drawback is not everyone has the ###Kbps ratings of the songs, so, if you are choosey it can sometimes take a bit of searching to find the right version.

I miss the 'ol eddie murphy stuff. They did an interview for Dr.Doolittle 2 and they have the Crockodile hunter scene where they mentioned that Eddie refused to be on the set with the Crock.
They cut back to him for comments and he's like, "What's Steve <crockodile hunter> going to do, He'd offer a great commentary--'Look at her rip Eddies a$$ apart, she's really tearing it up'", (his words were funnier, I just don't remember them exactly) -- followed by his signature laugh. Best line I've heard from him in a LONG time.
