Most of the watches at Fossil look either heavy or gay. Any suggestions??

I don't wear a watch cause normally but lately GF has been pestering to get one so I need something that is lightweight + functional(date+day) + cool looks.

Yep I'm wearing one right now. I love this watch. Well worth the $150 I spent on it.

What's your budget? There are a lot of lightweight cool looking watches out there... but some will cost you over $1,000 easy.

I want this one. :)

I have a Freestyle blue face chrono that's nice. Not too heavy, but not light either. I've had it for 5 years now, and just had to replace the battery. I've surfed with it on regularly, shower with it every day, etc.

EDIT: Oh, and it was $175 when I bought it... They go for around the same now at Ron Jon's.

My favorite watch is made by Movado. My wife bought if for me for my college graduation. I think its extremely classy, and it very comforable.

Edit:

Mine is an Allia, but I think the S.E. is a nice model, also. It was a hard choice between the two, but I'm sure either would be a great choice.

oh I guess if the watch is really nice than price range should between $150 to $200.
I like what I see on skagen website. I have to see if there is a local retailer around.

Skagen's are stainless steel so I doubt they are lightweight.

I have a Citizen Eco Drive, but it's like 4 years old.

I need a new watch, but too many other things on the priority list right now

But they're super thin. I can hardly even notice the one I'm wearing right now. (Although this one has a titanium case (supposedly)). All of their watches are pretty light.
