Argh, my dad assigned me to find the perfect laptop for him.
It has to be small, 11" screen would be insanely perfect, 12" not bad, but he'll go up to 15" if he has to. but it can't be over 5 pounds!!!
The main battle is that it must have a video adapter capable of dual-dvi to power 2650x1600 resolution (For dell's 30" LCD).
I know the Nvidia 7900 GTX does, but can only find it in 17" laptops. It does not appear that the smaller nvidia Go series can do the trick...
Also he would prefer Core 2 Duo, though the video powering the 30" monitor is the most important aspect.
Basically what I'm asking is for you to be a bunch of magicians and help me find a laptop with the power of a 17" that fits into a smaller package. Yikes.
I'm going to keep looking and I'll post what I find, but if anyone has any idea let me know!!!
