help me find an equation!

ohkay you all know how if u have numbers k= 1,2,3,4,5,6....
and the equation A(K)=3A(K-1)-2A(K-2)
if A(1)=2 and A(2)=3 then u get a pattern of numbers:
A(3)=5
A(4)=9
A(5)=16
A(6)=30
A(7)=58
A(8)=114
Hopefully those numbers are right...

Anyways can anyone find an equation A(n) to fit those numbers(2,3,5,9,16,30...)?
I know its an exponential because of the way it grows...something like A(n)=n^2+2n+(-1)^n or something wierd like that...I'm really not sure 🙁
help a brother out!!!
