help me find a laptop

I need a laptop with trackpoint (eraser head mouse) and they're hard to find with the specs I want. specs:

p4 2ghz+ or equivalent
15" tft
512 mb ram
60gb hard drive (80gb preferred)
dvd-rom/cd-rw (dvd-rw is better)
built-in floppy drive (some don't have these)
good video card (ati radeon 9000 or better (or nvidia))

under $1500 would be nice, but I'm not planning to buy for a month or 2 so higher prices are okay.

Get either a Dell Inspiron 8500, or an 8600. I would prefer the 8600 because it uses the new Pentium-M and the GFFX Go 5650 (the Radeon 9600 is supposed to be available in November). I also like the fact that both of these laptops can be configured with 15.4" WUXGA screens. The 8600 laptops start at around the price you mentioned, while the 8500 laptops are about $300 cheaper.

These are some of the best laptops I have ever worked on. I liked them so much, I bought a few. I LOVE them. They are comparatively priced, really reliable and designed by F.A. Porsche.

they don't get enough recognition, imho, because they are a subsidary of Best Buy.
