We had to put our dog down a few days ago, she was 14 years old, she was a great dog and we enjoyed her company very much. We are looking to bring a new dog into the family and are searching around for a breed that will be good for us.
We don't want a really big or really small dog. We want to get a medium sized dog that is about 30-45 pounds or so. Small dogs are usually yappy and a bit whimpy, we want something that will want to play outside in the snow and go swimming in the summer etc. we don't want too big of a dog because they are a bit hard to take care of, bath etc. We would like to be able to pick the dog up fairly easily. We want the dog to be playful and friendly and like swimming, one that doesn't shed very much would also be a plus.. and we would like it not to have white fur because they always look dirty and the fur shows up on clothes too much 🙂
