Help me find a computer please!

I need to find a computer for college for 600 bucks i was gonna get a Dell Dimension E520 with 1G ram and Pentium D processor 925 with Dual Core Technology (3GHz) and 160GB .. and 256 MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE TurboCache and a 15 in flat screen monitor all for $589 they cant ship till July 2nd and i need a computer by JUNE 22!!!!!! Please any help would be awsome!!

If you can build one, parts can be to you in 3 days, I can get you a full Core 2 Duo or Pentium (Core 2 Duo) for less than that, and it wil blow the Pentium D out of the water.

Step 1: Wait until Sunday, June 17th.

Step 2: Walk to your local newstand and purchase a Sunday newspaper.

Step 3: Compare advertisements from Circuit City, Best Buy, Office Max, Office Depot, Staples, CompUSA, Wal-Mart, and any other local consumer electronics retailer in your area. Find the best deal on a computer that fits your budget. If you're incapable of comparing two computers, ask your local nerdy teenager (kids are so good with computers these days).

Step 4: With the advertisement in hand, go to the retailer with the best deal and purchase a computer.

jeez that deal is terrible.... dell had a amd 64 x 2 with 19inch monitor the other day for 449

they have one without moniter right now for 250 i believe
this isnt the one im thinking off it was cheaper but quick link

anyways if your not a "gamer" just buy or build a really cheap one... you wont see a difference from a expensive one if you dont game or do anything intensive

so for just browsing internet and writing papers any computer will be great ... though i would go with a laptop if thats all you need it for.

what jpeyton said. Don't get pentium D, it is crap. Both athlon 64 x2 and core 2 duo processors are better.
