So I'm building a computer for a fella and he refuses to have it be AMD. I don't venture over to the Intel side of things much, so I don't know which motherboard to buy. It must take the new P4 processors and have integrated sound and video - integrated LAN is a plus. The AMD board that I usually use is the Biostar M7VKQ which I've been very pleased with. I don't want PCChips or some other junk - it must be reliable. Price range is similar to the M7VKQ - about $60. Can you help me with a suggestion? Thanks :)

Go to newegg.com and look for the Shuttle MV42N. It is a mAtx like most all in one boards, and has Sound, Video, and Ethernet. It should be around $55 plus shipping at newegg.com.

Here is a Link to Shuttle's page

As Marlin1975 said, pop over to Newegg.com. My suggestion is to look for boards using the Intel 845GL chipset. It is the "lite" version of the 845G, just missing support for 533FSB. There are many mATX boards available for reasonable prices, plus an Intel CPU and Intel chipset motherboard combo would be a sure sell for your Intel lover "fella."
