Help me find a case like this Kingwin!!!

I think you might be able to find a Lian-Li PC65. This was my first computer case, and has not failed me. I have occasionally seen the price drop to around 88$ on sale for PC-61 and then 20$ extra for window'ed side panel (makes a PC-61 into a PC-65).

I just bought an Antec Super Lanboy the other day. Its smaller, but is about 2/3 of the weight and has 120mm fans for intake and exhaust.

If you like the Kingwin, I think you will like the Lian-Li.

What do you think of the Sky Hawk 5605 (see it on mwave.com)? And if you go to directron.com click on cases > aluminum cases > black you will see some similar - perhaps the Directron (actually Super Flower) 301...

A little bit too much. I don't like front doors. I'm getting tired of mine on the Antec Lanboy! 😛
The Lian-Li PC65 would do if only I can find it for the said price by the poster. Also, I've managed to find a case exactly like the Kingwin except its by Beantech. Its the Beantech Igloo 3 and there's also a side window that you can purchase separately. Zipzoomfly.com carries the Igloo 3, but not the side window. Anybody know where I can find the window? Or other recommendations for a case are still appreciated.

Read in a review that you can unscrew it and place the glass inside the case

will be back with a url.

or... you could buy the windowless version of the 424 and do your own window if you desire..

Just a thought.. 🙂 Nice looking case, btw...

Yeah, since the window can be easily moved inside if you want (per Algere), no reason not to go with the Kingwin. I don't see that combo of features anywhere else: removable mobo tray w/ amazing attn to detail (midline connectors on frt panel cables!), rubber isolators for HDs, toolless optical and floppy mounts. All that for under $100. - hard to beat. But I do sort of like the way the Super Flowers are black inside and out. But that's easy to accomplish w/ some spray paint and steel wool.
. Also look at the Directron TT-461 - quite a few neat features at low bucks and The Super Flower 401, actually they seem to have lots of black cases that fit the basic description - Directron.com > Cases > MidTower > Black. And perhaps the Ahanix Black Knight. I know it has a door, but it has a very unusual action that might be tolerable.

directron is selling the silver color version of the AOpen 600 aluminum case with PSU (usually a Fortron) for a freaky low price.

FWIW, pcmag.com just did one of their typically shallow reports on 5 cases. The Kingwin 424 was one of the Editor's Choices..bh.
