Help me figure out what these sweaters are called

I've been trying to figure it out for a while now. I want one of those hooded sweaters called that are made of a somewhat colorful knit-- maybe Andean or Mongolian or something. Usually the threads are arranged to create vertical stripes. I've never seen one in a store, and can't find anything on the internet but I see people wearing them. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
