Help me figure out how to go to summer school at a different college.

I currently attend the University of Texas in Austin. Over the summer I want to go to the summer sessions at Texas Tech. My friend and I have both contacted admissions at Texas Tech and they have been very unhelpful. Which is odd considering all I want to do is give them a few thousand dollars.

My questions are:

Do I fill out a normal application (with a high school transcript) or a transfer application (with a college transcript)?

Do I transfer there and transfer back? If so, will I lose any non-transferable credits?

If those questions are stupid, can you tell me what to do?

Thanks.

I have talked on the phone and emailed them, they haven't been very helpful. A friend of mine trying to do the same thing is having the same difficulty as I am.

Texas Tech blows. Can you try going through a community college? Texas A&M accepts most classes in the 200 level or below from other colleges in Texas. I've done easy online stuff through North Harris CC. I'm sure UT is similar.

1.) Fax transcripts from your current university or bring them in to the advisers.

2.) Apply - non degree seeking.

3.) Sign up for classes.

4.) Pay??

All you are doing is showing them your transcript to get in, you're not transferring any credits.

Once you're done fax or bring the transcripts from college B back to college A, and you're done.
Make sure they will transfer back before you sign up though.
