A friend is buying a car.
He asked me this question, since he disclosed his salary, work place info, etc.
What does the bank do w/ this information?
Obviously, they must double check to see if this info is valid. How do they find out if he didn't give the dealer his pay stub?
so first comes the credit check. next comes salary/work comfirmation. someone fill me in. hehe.
EDIT:
now i'm worried, I think said friend overstated his salary. He just started working this year, so last year's tax report is null. arg...
EDIT2:
he says there's nothing to worry, since his credit rating is 735.
financial suicide? he has another source of under-table income? err...
I donno his salary anyways, but the way he asks is fishy.
EDIT3:
nevermind.. reason why he asked is because he wants to actually show proof of his salary to bring to dealer. He gets direct deposit, so I naturally told him to take his statement or something. I'm assuming he's @ the dealer now, since he asked in a rushed tone, and wanted info fast.
