I upgraded to a new hard drive, and I want to erase and unformat my old hard drive so I can sell it. I changed the old hard drive to a slave, and booted up with the new hard drive. I went to administrative tools, disk management, and was able to delete a Win2k partition (i was going a dual boot with 3 partition, the 3rd one for mp3's and stuff). But I was unable to delete the WinXP partition, and also the mp3 partition. The WinXP was labeled as a "page file", and the mp3 partition was "in use". How do I get rid of the remaining two partitions on the old hard drive?

Why cant you disconnect the new drive, leave the drive you want to erase as master, and boot to a floppy and Fdisk it?
