Was gaming this evening and my speaker starts shouting at me - CPU HOT CPU HOT CPU HOT

I check temps - running steady at 39 celsius. System shut down. Rebooted - came up fine. Booted into windows - video looked good. Loaded a game - video showed stripes down the screen from left to right. Rebooted - booted fine and could see video fine. Waited 10 minutes - switched to stripes.

My assumption is video problem.

Any answers?

try running prime95 torture tests, and running memtest. what are your specs? what program do you use to report temps? have you tried a different game? what drivers are you using?

AMD 64 3200+ at stock speed - K8V Deluxe
9800 Pro BBATI at stock speeds - using omega drivers. All worked well for months until tonight.

PC3200 Corsair Ram 1GB

Using Motherboard Monitor to report temps

I'd suspect the mobo. If it yelled cpu hot prolly a few blown caps somewhere on it. open the case and take a look man.
