Okay, here is the situation.
I just bought that new 449$ dell from the hotdeals forum. I want to use my current comp as a file server, for my local network, and use terminal services, etc.
I have a cable modem going to a 10mbit hub, and 2 computers connected from that hub to the internet. To be connected to the internet u most use your local ISP gateway, as a gateway, so if i send stuff between the 2 computers, it goes @ 12kbs.
I want to connect my fileserver to one computer in my lan. Should i add another network card to my new dell and connect it to the hub aswell, and have that nic go straight to the fileserver?
How should i do this?
